Born in New York City in 1981, Hilton became widely known through reality television. She co-starred with Nicole Richie in The Simple Life, whose pilot premiered in 2003. Her public and personal life was later the subject of This Is Paris, presented as a 2020 YouTube Originals documentary.
Hilton's work has expanded from television into media and consumer-brand entrepreneurship. She is publicly identified as co-founder and CEO of 11:11 Media. The reviewed sources do not, however, resolve the organization's founding history: Hilton's official biography links it to Paris Hilton Entertainment, created in 2006, while Axios reported that 11:11 Media launched in 2021 with Bruce Gersh as co-founder.
Hilton authored Paris: The Memoir, released in March 2023. The memoir forms part of her public account of her life and experiences, including experiences connected to her later advocacy on youth residential programs.
In June 2024, Hilton testified before the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means at a hearing on child welfare and youth residential-program issues. She publicly supported the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act, which became Public Law 118-194 on December 23, 2024. The reviewed evidence establishes her testimony and advocacy but does not independently adjudicate each event she has described from her own experiences.
In March 2026, Hilton and 11:11 Media Impact launched a disaster-recovery fund with GoFundMe.org to support women-owned small businesses affected by disasters. The available reporting establishes the launch but does not verify the initiative's continuing status, amounts distributed, or outcomes.
